Who I Am

I'm Ismail Taibi, a videographer and full-stack developer who believes great video is more than pretty pictures — it's a strategic asset. I started in software engineering, building systems that served hundreds of districts and thousands of users. That experience shaped how I work: I plan before I build, I communicate constantly, and I treat every project like it's going live tomorrow.

My videography work draws on the same principles. I use Premiere Pro and After Effects to cut tight, engaging content that respects the viewer's time and attention. I shoot with composition and lighting in mind, and I edit with the final platform's audience in mind — because a video that works on Instagram won't work the same way on a landing page. I've produced content for businesses, events, and brand campaigns, and I'm known for being easy to work with, quick to iterate, and obsessive about the final product.

When I'm not editing, I'm learning — new tools, new storytelling techniques, new ways to make pixels perform. I treat every project as a chance to raise the bar.

We hop on a call to understand your goals, audience, and brand voice. I learn what makes your story unique and define the deliverables, timeline, and format before I touch a camera.

Do you travel for shoots, or are you remote-only?+

I work remotely for editing and post-production. For shoots, I can travel depending on the project scope and budget. I'm based remotely and have worked with clients across different time zones without issue.

What gear and software do you use?+

I edit in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with color grading and audio mixing handled in the same pipeline. For photography and stills, I use Photoshop and Lightroom. I shoot on professional-grade cameras with proper lighting and audio equipment.

Can you work with my existing raw footage?+

Absolutely. If you've already shot footage and need a professional edit, I can work with your source material. I'll review it for quality and advise on what's usable, then cut and polish it to your brief.

How do revisions work?+

Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds. You'll receive a rough cut for initial feedback, then a refined version. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at an hourly rate.

Do you handle distribution or uploading?+
